Laila Schmidinger

Laila Schmidinger is a Gold Coast based artist currently working on the ABC children's show 'Bluey' as a 2D animator. She graduated in 2020 from the Southbank Griffith Film School with a Bachelor of Animation, Majoring in Art Direction. With a passion for creativity, she has experience in a wide range of mediums from watercolour cards and shirt printing to graphic novels and 2D animation.

Laila continues to work as an animator and illustrator in between watering plants, caring for her cat, Alice and live streaming art and games on Twitch.tv. Mr. Snap is her third short animation that she has directed, animated and edited with a team of students during her time at Griffith. She continues to looks forward to future career opportunities in the animation industry.
